A 60-year-old woman has died after being struck by a minivan in Camden on Wednesday morning.
The woman, whose identity is not being released at this time, was eastbound on John Street in a motorized wheelchair when she was struck by the minivan, which was also eastbound, the Midcoast Villager reported Wednesday.
The crash happened around 8:19 a.m., according to Lt. Michael Geary of the Camden Police Department. It was not clear if the minivan driver, who has not been identified, was injured in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
