A Yarmouth man is dead after his car was hit by a pickup truck in Brunswick on Wednesday morning.
The crash happened at about 10:55 a.m. at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Baribeau Drive, Brunswick police said in a news release.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police said Donald Harding, 75, was driving south on Baribeau Drive in a 2013 Ford Edge and pulled into the path of Jeremy Saxton, 45, of Harpswell, who was driving a 2019 Chevy pickup truck west on Pleasant Hill Road.
Harding died at the scene, and Saxton was uninjured. Both were wearing seatbelts and airbags deployed in both vehicles, police said.
An earlier version of this story misstated the time of the crash.
