
Police have identified a man who died after a two-vehicle crash in the town of Washington on Sunday night.
Joshua Theriault-Patten, 37, of Newcastle, died from his injuries at MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office told the Midcoast Villager.
Theriault-Patten was driving a 2009 Hyundai Accent on Route 17 just west of Fitch Road when he crossed the centerline and hit a 2016 Subaru Forester driven by Noah McGrath, 27, of Portland, according to the newspaper.
The crash was reported at 9:32 p.m.
Rescue workers found both drivers trapped in their vehicles. Both men were brought to MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital. McGrath received minor injuries, according to the Villager.
